The Big Brute Economy Vac is be supplied with a 230V, 16A power unit.
It has 3 motors providing a total of 3.2kW of cleaning power.
Check your electrical supply has a 16A supply.
230V Big Brute power units have 3 motors giving a total of 3.2kW of cleaning power.
It runs from a single-phase, 16A supply.
Note that the 230V Big Brute power unit has a 16A plug, so you’ll need a 16A supply to power it.
No 16A supply? No problem – use with a Big Brute 16A-to-13A adapter lead (Part No V1337) to run it from a standard 13A socket.
Both Economy Big Brute power units provide that famous Big Brute suction power. With 3 motors, you get powerful suction that will let you clean up with long, long hoses, without loss of suction.
The Economy Big Brute Suck & Blow power unit harnesses all the suction power to blow dust and dirt away. Switch from suck to blow in seconds.
Both Economy Vac power unit types are available in 230V only.
The Economy Suck Only power unit does just that - sucks. But sucks well!
It has 3 motors giving a total of 3.2kW of suction power.
Available in 230V only.
Our Economy Suck & Blow power unit has the same motors and suction power as the Economy Suck Only power unit.
However, the filtered air is directed through an exhaust port on the top of the power unit.
Simply push your suction hose onto the exhaust port to harness the Economy Big Brute's 3.2kW of cleaning power in a continuous blast of air.
Ideal for dislodging dust and dirt from crevices or ledges.
Switch from suck to blow in seconds - and back again. Use your Big Brute's suction power to then suck up dirt and debris blown out.
Available in 230V only.
Big Brute Standard Dry Suction Hose is 63mm diameter – wider than most industrial vacuum cleaner hose so it won’t block or kink easily.
It’s made from PVC with with a black outer with reinforcing threads, and supported by a helical PVC-coated wire.
It has an operating temperature of -20°C to 70°C and a weight of 0.5kg per metre.
Available in 3, 5, 10, or 15m lengths. Join multiple lengths together with a coupler to get even further reach.
Or, available supplied with 2 lengths of hose – one 5m length and one 10m length, each with one straight coupler on one end, and a curved coupler on the other, and a hose joiner to join the lengths together. This gives you the flexibility of shorter lengths for cleaning in confined spaces and the ability to join the lengths to reach further.

Ideal for use in lighter-weight industries where specialised filtration is required.
The Economy Vac HEPA comes with 3 stages of filtration: 2 dry fabric filters and a final HEPA 13 cartridge filter which has an filtration efficiency of 99.95%.
The HEPA 13 cartridge conforms to the standard EN 1822:2009 which specifies what percentage of particles down to a certain size the filter stops. In the case of EN1822:2009, this means particles of size 0.3 micro-metres or bigger.
An H13 specification filter therefore stops 99.95% of all particles of size 0.3 micro-metres or larger.
And with the optional toolkit, you can clean under racking, round machinery, up walls and high up into ledges and ceiling rafters.
Note: Economy Vac accessories are only compatible with the Economy Vacs. Standard Big Brute accessories are not interchangeable.

The Big Brute Economy Vac Warehouseman is more budget-friendly version of our Big Brute Warehouseman.
It has the famous Warehouseman front-mounted floor brush that skims your floor as you push it at walking pace, sweeping and sucking dust, grit and debris as it goes. No more sweeping with a broom – the Big Brute Economy Vac Warehouseman leaves your floors really clean without stirring up dust into the air.
It has the same power as our other standard Big Brute models, but its more lightweight construction is better suited for lighter duties.
Please note that these are budget warehouse floor cleaners. As such, we do not recommend this the Big Brute Economy Vac for heavy-duty applications. If you’re not sure if the Big Brute Economy Vac is suited to your needs, give our friendly, knowledgeable staff a call.
Please note that hose and tools for the Big Brute Economy Vac are not interchangeable with the standard Big Brute machines.
