S&B Herba Foods Ltd of Fulbourn, Cambridgeshire, have been cutting their waste with Big Brute Industrial Vacuum Cleaners.
S&B Herba Foods Ltd processes rice, dried peas and lentils for many UK supermarkets and food processors.
They use Big Brute Suck & Dump and a Big Brute Warehouseman to help clean-down their processing and packing machines between products.
Dave Barrett, Manager, told us they were originally cleaning down with brooms and brushes. “Clean-downs are much quicker with the Big Brutes,” Dave told us, “and the whole site is now much cleaner.”
Dave further described that cleaning down with the Big Brutes has had further benefits. “It cuts our waste as the products we collect can be re-used. It also avoids cross-contamination so we can give our customers a cleaner product.”
